Coltrane is based in Switzerland, where Zemp pays attention to the environmental impact of her clothing through conscientious creative processes. In this way Coltrane is a genuinely modern brand, by being deliberate with their ecological footprint and reinventing classic designs – so that they work in a young professional wardrobe during the week, but also on the (sometimes less professional) weekend.
A serene attention to detail runs throughout the After The Rain S/S 17 collection. The aesthetic features folds of silk, linen and cotton brought together in textured sleeves and backless knits. Throughout, organic material is engineered to create silhouettes both striking and subtle.
